TROPHY FOLLOWS 5 GOLDS FOR ASKERNE GEWURZTRAMINER 2007

Askerne collected the trophy for the top Gewurztraminer at the Liquorland Top 100 Wine Competition on Friday 2nd October 2009.

Askerne owner John Loughlin said " our 2007 Gewurztraminer has now won 5 gold medals in New Zealand Wine Competitions and we are delighted to have taken the next step and won a trophy with this wine. The consistency of results is particularly pleasing especailly after winning gold medals with our 2005 and 2006 vintages".

Last year Askerne won its first trophy for its 2006 Noble Semillon at the romeo Bragato Wine Competition.
